Questions To Ask Before You Rent Your Villa
As the New Year rushed to great us most of us are now faced with the task of having to book the summer holiday. Some of us like to go back to the same place year after year whereas some of us have a list of places we've always wanted to visit. The one thing you might still be unsure about is your accommodation. You'd typically have the choice of staying in a hotel, rent a villa or go camping. Most people decide to go for the villa option. Villas are popular because they will always be cheaper than staying in a hotel and you've got the chance to have more people staying there not to mention all the extra freedom you've got. There are still several things you need to check before you decide to place your deposit.
Regardless of whether it's a villa in the south of France or villas in Cyprus it's vital that things like gas and electric and running water aren't going to be a problem. If the villa you're going to be staying in is left vacant for several months a year you might find everything has been turned off at the mains so you'll need to know how to turn this back on. You're also going to want to check what other basics come with the villa. You'll normally find that the bedding won't be a problem but you might have a small child in which case you'll need to check it at least comes with a cot.
You'll find the holiday more enjoyable if you've read up on the country. For example if you're looking at holiday rentals Portugal try to lean some Portuguese and a bit about the local area. Make sure you have a good idea of where you want to go and the best way to get to them. If you're on a family holiday and you have grandparents or small children with you you'll want to make sure you don't have lots of steps to climb to get to your villa.
